VOICES OF LEE
We had a tremendous response at last year’s Gathering when Voices of Lee join us, so we are bringing them back this year! This talented a cappella ensemble from Lee University in Cleveland, Tennessee is directed by Danny Murray. The group is characterized by their unique variety of lush vocal harmonies, high-energy patriotic numbers, fun-filled audience participation, as well as heart-felt gospel favorites. This will be a highlight of the Gathering event for sure!

FAQ
We currently do not have a children’s program or babysitting arrangements for Crown’s Gathering. We recommend planning for the kids to stay home and consider this a great opportunity to get away as a couple to a beautiful location! That said, the content at the Gathering is definitely appropriate for teens and young adult children. Email Gathering@crown.org to inquire how to register teens and adult children so they are included for meals and sessions and if we need to request additional beds in your room.
Dress code is casual; it is a good idea to have good walking shoes! And, of course, it is always good to have a sweater/jacket for cool October days. Please plan to wear something special for our Saturday evening Celebration Banquet.
Gathering attendees should plan to arrive on Thursday, October 24, 2019 in time to settle into your room and enjoy the 5:30 pm Welcome Dinner & Evening Session. Registration will be open between 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. EDT in the lobby; if you arrive earlier than 1 pm you may not be able to check into your room, but you can spend some time enjoying the grounds at the Marriott or Stone Mountain Park; and our fabulous staff will be available to answer questions and welcome you with Southern hospitality!
Our final session will be Saturday night but you don’t want to miss it! Please make departure plans to check out on Sunday morning and travel home that day. If you want recommendations for church services on Sunday morning please ask under the “special needs” section when you register.
No, the costs for the event have been partially underwritten and your lodging is being provided to you as a valued ministry partner! You will receive a confirmation email when you register, and we will add your name(s) to the master rooming list that will be submitted by Crown to the Marriott. If you have special requests such as needing a handicap accessible room, please indicate that on your registration form and we will include your request.
No problem. During the registration process simply indicate your special dietary need and we will have Marriott adapt their menu accordingly.
We will be posting Ground Transportation options from ATL to the Marriott very soon. It is a 36.7 mile drive to/from the airport.
Yes! Wi-fi is available in the meeting room as well as the hotel rooms.
Crown owns a limited amount of translation equipment and will do our best to accommodate translation requests. If you have a translation need, please indicate that during the registration process. If you would like more information, please email us at gathering@crown.org.
Yes. Please have one attendee complete the registration as a “couple” with information for both attendees and denote that you are sharing a room in the “special needs” box so we can be sure to request 2 queen beds in your room. We’ll leave it up to you to settle the shared registration expense!
